Welcome to the Orlando Science Center where your imagination and curiosity are the keys to unlocking worlds you’ve only imagined.

Each day at the Science Center is a full day of exploration and discovery. It is one of America’s top hands-on science centers where learning is always fun.

The Orlando Science Center’s exhibit halls feature a vast array of exciting interactive experiences! Learning has never been so fun with these hands on educational exhibits.

From down to earth explorations in natural science to the high-tech world of simulation technology, everywhere you look, you’ll find educational and entertaining opportunities to explore, experiment, and discover.

A discovery that awaits you within our hundreds of exhibits, programs, labs, giant screen films and planetarium shows.

In addition the Orlando Science Center is home to some of the most exciting touring exhibits in the country. When these exhibits are in town they are only here for a limited time; so don’t miss the opportunity to see them!

As great as our touring exhibits are, there are some exhibits that are the staple of the Orlando Science Center. For example our Careers for Life exhibit, which showcases the types of careers that save and help the lives of others. Its main purpose is to create awareness, inform and educate anyone about health care careers. With the need to develop trained health care professionals, this exhibit is designed for everyone. With information on careers in respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, physical therapy, EMTs, and more, Careers for Life is jammed packed with info on a multitude of careers in health care.

tro_osc_dinodigsOne of our most popular exhibits is Dino Digs. Here you will meet the ancient rulers of our planet, as you examine fossil replicas of dinosaurs and prehistoric sea creatures. Orlando Science Center showcases the dinosaurs in their disparate land and aquatic settings as you our guests become part of a paleontological excavation site.

  • Uncover ‘fossils’ in the dig pit and examine fossilized dino eggs
  • Explore displays that feature ancient land and marine reptiles
  • Compare reptiles and dinosaurs to see similarities and differences

What’s the difference between a great visit to a Science Center and a memorable visit? Live programs. Our exhibits are designed to inspire curiosity and exploration, our live programming is designed to bring the exhibits to life. Whether it’s a show in the Darden Adventure Theater or a one-to-one interaction with a volunteer at the Crosby Observatory,

The aluminum-domed Crosby Observatory atop Orlando Science Center houses Florida’s largest publicly accessible refractor telescope. This one-of-a-kind custom-built telescope, along with several smaller scopes, are available at selected times for solar and night sky viewing.

So come and visit The Orlando Science Center for an impacting experience the will last a lifetime.
